This 120,000 year old salt lake a one Victoria’s best places for photography. When full, the lake forms a perfect mirror that can reflect incredible sunsets in the wide open Mallee Sky. Every time I visit I find something new to photograph, a new aspect, new conditions, new objects.
Walking out into the water, or out onto the dry crusty surface, you can become lost in an unending horizon, with nothing but the whistling wind and bite of the salty air to keep you company. It’s so rare to find a place where you can feel so small and remote, yet completely at ease.
